Green Team Project is really excited to be supporting the Center For Green School's Green Apple Day of Service nationally.

The Green Apple Day of Service, which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, gives parents, teachers, students, companies and local organizations the opportunity to transform all schools into healthy, safe and productive learning environments through local service projects.

The Center for Green Schools at the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is the organization behind the Green Apple movement, working to ensure that every student has the opportunity to attend a green school within this generation. The Center provides the resources and support to elevate dialogue, accelerate policy and institute innovation toward healthy, high-performing schools and campuses. The Center works directly with staff, teachers, faculty, students, administrators, elected officials and communities to drive the transformation of all schools into sustainable places to live and learn, work and play.

Green Team Project will be offering curriculum and activity units to any school that would like to coordinate an activity for the September 28th event.  Email Tyler Wood, Director of K-12 Education, for more information on how Green Team Project will help your school.  twood@greenteamproject.org
