JEA and the Green Team Project along with St. Johns County Public Libraries have partnered together to bring these "Do-It-Yourself" Home Energy & Water Efficiency Evaluation Backpack Kits to your local library free for checkout.
The backpack kits include all the tools and instructions to do your own energy and water efficiency evaluation. The tools in the kit enable you to:

- What activity within your home is the largest contributor to your energy bill
- Find water leaks and estimate their water costs
- Check if your faucets and appliances are water efficient
- Determine if your irrigation system is watering efficiently
- And more. All in order to help you save money on your utilities.
Constantly adjusting the thermostat? See your water bill and wonder where all that water went?
