Our environmental workshop series is for those individuals who want to learn
more about what they can do for the environment; prefer a presentation format;
and cannot attend a set of consecutive green team meetings. Our goal for
2006 is to host one workshop series each quarter (every three months).
Each series has six workshops with each workshop focusing in depth on one of the
following resource topic areas: solid waste, water, energy, household chemicals,
transportation, and community action.
Because we are in the business of both education and behavior change, we are
still experimenting with the workshop format on how better to follow-up with
attendees to see if they implemented what they learned at the workshop (i.e.,
did they install the low flow showerhead given out for free at the workshop?)
