whatever works best for you. They have info on carpools to BART
and even carpools for skiing. Check it out.

for employers to promote ride sharing and what incentives are
available.
East
Bay Casual Carpooling East Bay commuters use casual carpools
to make use of carpool lanes and cross the Bay bridge for free.

Greenbelt Alliance Outings Greenbelt outings are hikes, bike
rides and tours that provide a fun way to become acquainted with
Bay Area open space. They also offer tours of urban areas that
showcase good examples of infill development, affordable
housing, transit-oriented development, and urban revitalization
in existing Bay Area communities.
City Carshare
Car-sharing allows you to use a car when you need it without
incurring the fixed costs of ownership. City CarShare provides a
network of vehicles parked in neighborhoods throughout San
Francisco, the East Bay, and the Peninsula.

Vehicle Buy Back Program
One of the best ways to clean up the
air is to get rid of the worst offenders, older cars. If your car
is a 1985 or older model in working condition you may be able to
get $650 for it from the Bay Area Air Quality Management
